Mesh Pre-Filters

A mesh style filter may resemble what you see inside a kitchen hood. These filters comprise of a metal frame and metal fibers that are intertwined to catch large debris. The benefit of a mesh prefilter is that they can be washed and reused before needing to be replaced. The drawback to a mesh filter is that they are not as good as catching dirt particles before they enter the equipment ductwork and into the intake filters making them last not quite as long.
