Garmat Paint Booth Filters
Like Blowtherm or GFS, Garmat paint booth filters need regularly changed. Garmat paint booths are widely used in shops within the automotive and industrial paint industry. Though Garmat filters are manufactured in various different sizes, their most common filters tend to be 38” x 62” or 38” x 107”.
In Garmat booths, their spray booth filters for air coming into the booth are typically located on the ceiling. Some Garmat booths use special exhaust filters. Garmat exhaust tower style booths use bag or sock filters, which are made from polyester and resemble birthday hats. These Garmat tower bags are found in Garmat Tier 1, Chinook, and Frontier paint booths. All other Garmat paint booths make use of roll polyester media or fiberglass for their exhaust filters. Paint booth roll filters are used in Garmat 3000 and Zephyr model booths. These paint booth filters keep Garmat booths clean and prevent dust from mixing with wet paint, leaving finished paint jobs as smooth and polished as glass.
Garmat Paint Booth Filters: Ensuring Clean, High-Quality Paint Finishes
Garmat paint booths are trusted in the automotive and industrial paint industries for their reliability and performance. Regular filter changes are essential for keeping your Garmat booth running efficiently and ensuring smooth, professional paint jobs.
Standard Garmat Paint Booth Filters
Garmat paint booths offer a variety of filter sizes, with the most common being 38” x 62” and 38” x 107”. Depending on the booth configuration, these sizes are typically used in both intake and exhaust systems.
Air Intake Filters
For air filtration, Garmat booths primarily use ceiling-mounted filters that trap large dust particles and contaminants before they enter the booth. This process ensures that the air entering the paint booth remains clean, minimizing the risk of imperfections in the paint finish.
Exhaust Filters
Garmat booths provide different exhaust filter options based on the model:
- Exhaust Tower Style Booths: These booths use polyester bags or sock filters resembling birthday hats. They efficiently trap overspray and contaminants in the Tier 1, Chinook, and Frontier models.
- Other Garmat Booths: The Garmat 3000 and Zephyr models generally use roll polyester media or fiberglass for exhaust filters. These materials effectively capture paint overspray while maintaining airflow efficiency.
Why Garmat Filters Matter
Using Garman’s high-quality filters ensures your booth operates smoothly, preventing dust and debris from contaminating your paint jobs. These filters also help maintain air quality and extend the lifespan of your equipment.
